Vanessa Chen - Solicitor

Vanessa joined Coote Family Lawyers in December 2025 and practises exclusively in family law.

She completed a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts at Australian National University and was admitted to legal practice on 26 August 2025. 

Vanessa has a particular interest in children’s matters and understands that parenting disputes can be one of the most challenging aspects of family law proceedings. She approaches each matter thoughtfully and with careful attention to detail, working closely with clients to achieve practical and considered outcomes. 

Clients appreciate Vanessa’s attentive and pragmatic style of practice. She is committed to guiding clients through what is often a difficult period with clarity, empathy and sound legal advice.
