We at Coote Family Lawyers are committed to responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in a calm, measured and informed manner.  Our aim is to continue  to provide the exceptionally high standards of service to our clients whilst protecting those clients and our staff.

We are closely monitoring official advice from the Department of Health and have made immediate changes to our internal operations in response.  Amongst those, our offices are regularly disinfected and we have put in place measures in line with the social distancing recommendations by the government.   The health of our clients and staff is paramount to us.

We are of course keeping abreast of the announcements by the Family Court, Federal Circuit Court and the Magistrates Court in terms of their policies and procedures in response to the pandemic and liaising with our clients who are affected by changes in the Courts’ practices.

Our office will remain open for the time being, and we are encouraging our clients to take up alternatives such as video or telephone conferencing options where appropriate, and in line with government recommendations for social distancing.  Our lawyers and support staff are also fully equipped to work from home as part of our forward planning. 

We are confident that the systems and infrastructure we have in place will ensure minimal disruption to our business operations.
